Whether you are doing manual, automated, or any other type of testing, you always need test data. But to create it is often not an easy task especially for very complex or distributed data. From my experience a concept on how to create and management test data is often missing as well.
In this session I want to share with you a general approach for creating and managing test data. I also want to give you some insights how we started with this topic in my current project.
Florian Pilz has a background in education and spent several years working in medical student teaching. However, his passion for IT led him to switch to a career in software testing. His primary area of interest is test automation, which he has applied to a wide variety of projects, including frontend, backend, and mobile applications. Since the summer of 2021, Florian has been working as a test architect at Zeiss Digital Innovation. In this role, he build up the test automation architecture for end-to-end testing in a highly distributed system including various medical devices.
